Ort in der Provinz Pesaro e Urbino, Region Marken, Italien, 2 800 Einwohner; von einem zweifachen Mauergürtel umgeben.
 
 
Ihr heutiges Aussehen erhielt die seit dem 13. Jahrhundert nachweisbare Burg (»Rocca«) durch die Familie Malatesta im 14. und 15. Jahrhundert. Sie soll Schauplatz der tragischen Liebesgeschichte des Paolo Malatesta und der Francesca da Rimini gewesen sein.
